Portal: The Flash Version Mappack

Posted by Hen7 May. 1, 2008 @ 4:19 PM EDT

So, You loved Portal: The Flash Version and Own Portal itself?
Why not playing the whole 40 flash levels again, In 3d?
I've decided to remake the whole 40 levels of Portal: The Flash Version (plus some more originals) back into 3d on VALVE's portal.
Download here:
Portal: The Flash Version Mappack
Have fun!

Epic man, epic.
I have to complain on the puzzles where you must propell yourself over a high wall, since travelling forward is harder in the real Portal. Too hard.
But also, you don't need HL2 to play this Mappack, since I played it with only Portal, so maybe fix that?

I finished it a while back now, nice work. You would give Valve a run for their money.

Hey, heres a strange thing. When after all the crushing parts (The floor comes to you and you have to search a exit) After that, youre in a maintenance room, theres a door, and a ventilation shaft. In the shaft, instead of seeing a exit, i see strange colors, all combinated (Like in the 60´s :P) if i enter there... Well, i can´t explain, will get a photo in a couple of minutes :)

Damn! this looks like it pwns but I only have the ps3 version >:(
And my computer can't run portal anyway :(
Is it possible to play this on the ps3 version? I know it's not likely but can you try?

That was the BEST ENDING EVER. Flying Centipede FTW!
I always thought the Flash version was a bit incomplete at the end, how it just went straight to the credits after the cake. This was just awesome.

Nice work. It seems I share the same opinion about Chell (I won't spoil for others, if you want to know what is it, play his maps until the end). I have a question : when you push the button which loads the Borealis, what does it do ? I'm confused.
Plus, when does the story take place ? Days ? Months ? Years before "Portal" ?
Anyway, I'm glad there are some twisted minds that create Portal maps.

Aug. 25, 2008 | 7:56 AM blackduckie says:

That backstory idea was pretty cool, and I can tell you, you're not the only person to have thought of that, but it contradicts another theory on GameSpot which is based on the notes that you will find at ApertureScience.c o m if you use the username and password found in the not-so-secret room in Testchamber 17 of the real Portal.
Wow, that was a long sentence.
And in answer to MrT-Time's questions, the button I'm assuming you're talking about opens a previously locked door. And this map pack is set before Portal. It also says that on GameSpot.

I loved this mappack! The portal prelude guys also made 8 maps that were almost copied from the flash levels.

Portal: $10 - 4 hours gameplay
TFV mappack - 4 MORE hours gameplay
Portal: Prelude - 4 MORE hours gameplay
various other maps - 4 MORE hours of gameplay...

= approx. $0.50 per hour of entertainment

I'm very glad that Valve gave us Hammer. Good job!

This is probably better than the Portal itself! Just how long did it for you to make it?

Feb. 15, 2009 | 1:46 PM Kwing says:

Too bad I don't have Portal :( I've decided to ask you for help for my Flash game (nothing technical, just level design) because of the ingenuity in Portal TFV. If you could help, I could co-author you or just put you ask a Special Thanks person.
